LUX-ME product family is a hybrid or metal oxide coating system developed to provide film refractive indices ranging from 1.3 to 2.3 at visible wavelengths.

The LUX-ME products are all compatible with spray, spin and slit coat processing and are thermally cured in the range 250 to 400 °C and are cured further during the cell high temperature co-firing.

With typical film thickness in the range from 10 to 100 nm and tailored refractive index, the optical path is optimized to enable maximum light capture.

Pre-coat LUX-MH10 enables the passivation of the surface in single crystal and additionally the bulk in multi-crystalline Si cells. Coupled with the LUX-ME anti-reflective coatings increases the efficiency and replaces the costly SiN:H hydrogenation and anti-reflective process with increased throughput with a simple spray coat process.
